Information we collect about you

Information you provide. We may collect and store any personal information you enter on our website or provide to us in some other manner. This includes identifying information, such as your name, address, e-mail address, image, telephone number, and, if you transact business with us, financial information such as your payment method (valid credit card number, type, expiration date or other financial information). We also may request information about your interests and activities, your gender and age, your location (such as ZIP code and/or country), and other demographic or profile information and we may ask you to complete a survey or send us a review.

If you use our website to send others (friends, relatives, colleagues, etc.) information that may interest them and invitations or messages through our system, we may store your personal information, and the personal information of each such recipient. We use the contact information you provide about these people to allow them to respond to and comment on your golfbud invitation. At your request, we may send Reminders and other event related information to guests. We will not display their email addresses to other guests of the same event. Other than as described in this Policy we will not intentionally sell or otherwise disclose guest contact information you submit to any third party.

Use of cookies and other technologies to collect information. We use various technologies to collect information from your computer and about your activities on our site.

Information collected automatically. We automatically collect information from your browser when you visit our website. This information may include your IP address, your browser type and language, access times, the content of any undeleted cookies that your browser previously accepted from us (see "Cookies" below), and the referring website address.

Other Users. Users or golfbuds that you have entered as your “golfbuds” may view your profile, as defined by the information you enter on “your profile” portion of the site, but only if you elect to make your profile visible to others. The information you provide on your accounts page is not made available to others. If you have granted access to your “profile”, other users that you have entered or identified as your golfbuds may choose to e-mail or contact you with any of the information you have made visible. However, to ensure your privacy, LTI will not display or give out your e-mail address or any other contact information to other users except those that are specifically entered as your “golfbuds” and to whom you have made your profile visible, except as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy. You will already know or have access to the email addresses for your golfbuds since they can not be contacted using the site unless you have that information and have entered or imported it to the site. Messages sent and received by the site do not disclose the email address of the sender or the receiver.
Authorized service providers: We may share your personal information with our authorized service providers that perform certain services on our behalf. These services may include fulfilling orders, processing credit card payments, delivering packages, providing customer service and marketing assistance, performing business and sales analysis, supporting our website functionality, and supporting contests, sweepstakes, surveys and other features offered through our website. These service providers may have access to personal information needed to perform their functions but are not permitted to share or use such information for any other purposes.
Business partners: When you make purchases, reservations, or engage in promotions offered through website or our services, we may share personal information with the businesses with which we partner to offer you products, services, promotions, contests and/or sweepstakes. If you have an online account with us, you also may choose to close your account at any time by submitting a request to our customer support department via the "Contact Us" link on the FAQ/Contact Support page of the golfbuds.com website. After you close your account, you will not be able to sign in to our website or access any of your personal information. However, you can open a new account at any time. If you close your account, we may still retain certain information associated with your account for analytical purposes and recordkeeping integrity, as well as to prevent fraud, collect any fees owed, enforce our Terms of Service, take actions we deem necessary to protect the integrity of our web site or our users, or take other actions otherwise permitted by law. Your choices about collection and use of your information

You can choose not to provide us with certain information, but that may result in you being unable to use certain features of our website because such information may be required in order for you to register as a member or use certain features of the site
While golfbuds does not give you the opportunity to remove your information from our database, you may remove your registration information from your My Account page as described below. At any time you can choose to no longer receive commercial or promotional e-mails or newsletters from us or to discontinue use of our service. If you are a registered user, please log in and visit My Account page of the golfbuds website and uncheck the box related to sending information to you via e-mail or send us an e-mail (including your e-mail address) at support@golfbuds.com. You may also opt-out of receiving mobile alerts by following the opt-out instructions provided on the Golfbuds website. When you register on our website, you will be given a choice as to whether you want to receive e-mail messages regarding new annoucements. You may modify your choice at any time by clicking on the My Account link on the Golfbuds website, visiting the My Account page, and changing your preferences. You also will be given the opportunity, in any commercial e-mail that we send to you, to opt-out of receiving such messages in the future. It may take up to 10 days for us to process an opt-out request. We also allow users the option of changing information previously provided. This may be done through the following method: (i) visit Golfbuds and log in, (ii) click on the "My Account" link, and (iii) change the relevant information. Please note that changing information in your account, or otherwise opting out of receipt of promotional e-mail communications will only affect future activities or communications from us. If we have already provided your information to a third party (such as a tee time provider) before you have changed your preferences or updated your information, you may have to change your preferences directly with that third party.

For example, only authorized employees are permitted to access personal information, and they may do so only for permitted business functions.
